Monthly Meetings are focused in the following manner
Wk 1 and Wk 3 Global Speakers Forum (Prepared Speeches, Impromptu Speaking, Evaluations)
Wk 2 Personal and Interpersonal Development (PIP Dev)
Unless we keep improving ourselves holistically, we cannot exploit our true potential. This meeting is dedicated to Personal Development, and Relationship Enhancement.
Wk 4 LEx Meeting (Leader Excellence - through respected external leaders. Here we learn from corporate, business, political and social leaders with exceptional achievements.
Wk 5 FUN Evening - External Entertainment, Dinner, Movie, Dancing, (or as decided by the Forum Members)
The Speaker Forum enhances
- Public Speaking Structuring, Preparing and Delivering Speeches using the facets of Body Language, Voice Modulation, Effective Use of Words, Rhetorical Devices.
- Quick Talking Here members are encouraged to speak on topics that are given to them, for a minute or two. No preparation time is given, but one learns how to think on ones feet, and deliver a mini-speech with confidence and power.
- Enhancement Members are encouraged to give feedback based on the speech project guidelines and evaluation sheet. One learns to listen and analyse speeches. This enables us to, on one hand and on the other hand, this helps the speaker understand how the speech came across to the audience. The evaluation process also enables the evaluator to sharpen listening skills.
- Mentoring is encouraged, and developed in a practical, effective manner. Senior members enable and empower those who are learning the ropes to build their confidence. Mentees learn to develop essential speaking skills and meaningful relationships that are invaluable in the corporate world as well as the social sphere in which we live. Mentors are not thrust on members, but rather, members are free to discover the learning on their own, or if they feel comfortable they will ask for specific inputs from the seniors that they consider worthy of being role models.
Personal and Interpersonal Development (PIP Dev) Meetings focus on the following
- Personal Development. Mental Faculties are honed through exercises, and updating of the latest learning from the world of Science and Psychology. Members are also encouraged to be physically fit and healthy. Attitude, Behaviour and Confidence is mapped to ensure that members progress continually.
- Interpersonal Skills. Exercises, debates, group discussions, brainstorming sessions and one-on-one sessions and the Buddy System are strategically employed to help members expand their inter-personal capabilities.
Leadership Excellence (LEx) Meetings
- Expanding Leadership Intelligence and Consciousness. Constant upgrading of learning levels through external specialists in the 4th Meeting of every month. The learning also follows the theme for the month, and so there are 12 subjects in which members can develop a reasonably good working knowledge.
Overall, the format used by us for the weekly sessions ensures a holistic all-round capability that is a boon and ensures success in a highly competitive world.
