Forum Leader - Sunil King

I was born on 25th December 1974 in Bangalore and grew up here. I studied in St Joseph’s School and college. I majored in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.

My wife Roopa and I share a wonderful life with each other.

I now work as a Delivery Manager in CIBER Global Solutions (www.ciber.com), managing Software Delivery for the Stanford University’s B-School (www.gsb.stanford.edu). I also lead the Business Enterprise Strategy group, within CIBER. Prior to this, I worked with MNC’s like GE, ANZ and Compuware in the software divisions.

I am focussed on leadership and management and am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Green Belt and one of the first 50 to get certified as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in India. I head projects that currently are developed on cutting edge technology.

I am an avid reader of books and was a Karnataka State athlete in the 100M and 200M. I have represented Karnataka in the National games.

I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Bangalore, YMCA and am a member of the National Board of YMCA.

I have been with GCF since inception and now the forum leader at the GCF Jayanagar. The forum has shaped me as a person and leader.

I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling to various parts of the globe with them and most importantly, playing a fool with my two little kids. Whenever I am not playing with the kids, I love to play with my business ideas and build one of the biggest business empires in the world! Currently serving as - Managing Director at inlingua Bangalore, Director at R S Electronics Limited

I also like to help people around me, in whatever little ways I can, through whatever means I could. I believe that the basis of life is freedom (freedom from all kinds of worries) and the purpose of life is joy. GCF certainly set me free and am happy today. My only goal in life is to see freedom and happiness, in each and every person around me!!

I am a very passionate person with diverse interests ranging from wealth management, adventure outings to experimenting and playing around with the entrepreneurial bug which bites me every now and then. To make it big in the world of business and rub shoulders with the top business leaders in the country is my goal.

Otherwise, I am a happy person and always grateful about the life I am blessed with, be it my parents or the two wonderful sisters, or the power which lies within ourselves. Would love to use that power and be the author of my own life. Love spending time with likeminded people and bring in a tinge of humour and spice up life in my own way. Continuous learning and growth is what I believe in and never let go of an opportunity which could bring about some change within myself, however small it could be. GCF is one place which has given me the venue to continually stretch and challenge myself and learn a lot from fellow members, thus providing the platform to grow myself.

My Name is Kavitha Garla. I am a mother of two handsome boys 16 and 12. My husband Sridhar is a director at Tavant Technologies. I have done my MBA in Marketing. I am a Director at Bliss Chocolates Pvt ltd.

I love animals, cooking and baking. Baking is my passion. I bake a cake for every mood that I am in; it is the biggest stress buster for me. My weakness is my dog Betsy, she has come into our lives and changed everything with her unconditional love!

I used to be a lot things before joining GCF, GCF has evolved or rather is evolving me into a new person. I have realised a WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES......that all exist within me. My goal is to learn, evolve and become a better human being with the help of GCF.

A passionate Sports Physiotherapist by profession. Nothing passionate me more than my work because it is serving mankind. Currently serving as the Director of my own organization “Attitude Prime” in Bangalore. I am equally passionate about music which I would term it as the “Language of the soul”. My hobby is martial arts, and I am an avid marathon runner. I like to help people around me by alleviating their pains, both physical and mental.

In an era where information and communicative technology has grown massive much of us are still victims of ill communicative & interpersonal relationship skills. GCF is certainly a great and blessed platform to improve ones confidence level and identify the hidden magic that lies within through improvisation of communication and interpersonal skills.
