Archie D'Souza

I am a citizen of Bangalore from 1989, married to Valerie (not Veronica), who is a Clinical Psychologist. Our only daughter, 18, is doing her first B.Sc. at Mt Carmel's College.

My aim is to make the World a better place by:
Bringing education, especially English Language and Computer Education to poor children in rural areas. Pioneering a corporate volunteer movement where executives, teachers and students take a sabbatical from their routines to participate in community development projects. I have been in this field for the last three years.

For a living, I teach logistics and export/import management to post graduate students and offer in-house training and consultancy to organisations that need it. I have conducted several seminars in this field. I have published several articles in my field in trade journals. Have edited two periodicals, Air Wagon and Law Spectrum.

I have 25 years of corporate experience, eight years in logistics and seventeen in the airline inductry. also, 28 years of teaching and training experience Would like to become a trainer in Soft skills Out-bound learning and Inter-cultural learning Can train and offer consultancy in the fields of logistics, imports, exports, project management, business and marketing plans, etc. Academically, I am a graduate in Economics, Law and Management.

For the GCF I intend being a coach to those I can mentor to and learn from every member.

Chetna Tilak

I come with a decade of experience in Sales, Marketing and HR. Currently enjoying my "Career counsellor" stint with MANPOWER Professional.

I am also passionate about consulting people on behavioural skills, attitude management, stress management and how to maintain Work Life Balance.

Alternately I help two like minded people to tie marriage knots. So any singles around, please call.

Karan Anil Kumar

I am doing my engineering in NMIT, Bangalore and i have taken Comp. science as my main stream. Interested in football, cricket, music, computer and gadgets, gaming. I for-see myself being successful in contributing to the world, in technology.

GCF - has been a right platform for me, enhancing me in all aspects to achieve my goal. I look forward to participate in this forum every friday!

Lokamanya Tilak

I have been using both natural and man made resources for the last 39 years. Till as recent as a year ago, I had been a part of the Market Research Industry. Currently I am involved in Real Estate consulting. I have options of joining a couple of start ups related to relocation and travel industry.

An avid fan of cricket, Amitabh Bacchan and Kishore Kumar, I have always wanted to make a significant contribution to the world and have taken the first step towards it by joining GCF.

Reetha Natarajan

Believe in myself is the motto of my life. A Smiling face & happiness in the eyes of people around me makes my day & motivates me.

Here is a short insight into my little world: I am a legal professional having an experience of more than 23 years, out of which for 11 years, I worked as a Judge, being part of M.P. Judiciary and for 12 years in the corporate world. I am currently working with a design company.

I’m passionate about my work, and equally passionate about music. Music fuels me with energy and calms me down too. I love experimenting in the kitchen and enjoy coming up with new dishes and then asking my two children to try it out.

My world revolves around my two sons and their upbringing. Earlier we were a family of three, now with the advent of GCF, GCF has become a part of my life, and now we are a family of four. GCF has broaden my horizon, instilled me with courage & confidence.

I strongly believe that further expansion of GCF will equip me with broader and sharper wings, to reach even greater heights which in turn will enable me to help others to climb the unending ladder of learning and sharing.

Samir Goenka

A businessman managing a garment export company Texport Overseas. We export primarily to U.S and Europe. Some of our clients include Gap, Armani etc.

I am married to Shalini. We stay on Vittal Mallya road. I moved to Bangalore from Bombay in 1993.

My hobbies are travelling and running. I've been to more than 60 countries. I've travelled to diverse countries such as Argentina, Canada, Morocco, Iceland, Cambodia, New Zealand, Israel etc.

I would strongly recommend people to join GCF. It refines your personality and helps you to become more confident. It can do wonders to improve your public speaking skills.

Sunil King

My folks named me Sunil King, but u can call me anything (and you’ll definitely get a reply!). I celebrate my birthday every year on Christmas day. I am (fortunately!!) married for the last 6 years, to Roopa, who is my strength and inspiration.

I am a very serious and passionate person(on this, I’m open to questions). And you can ask me anything (except money) and I will try to give you answers.

I am an Engineer with a PMP (Project Management Professional) and SSGB (Six Sigma Green Belt) certifications. I have coined the statement ‘NIKE’ because ‘ADIDAS’ and made it my mission statement. I am passionate about Cars and Watches – so u know what to think of while buying me a gift! I come to GCF to have fun and at the same time take back a lot of LEARNING, which I do. And I promise to make GCF a better place while I am there. What I tell people around me is “The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.”

Greeks didn't write obituaries, they only asked one question after a man died, ‘Did he/she have passion? My answers to the Greeks are I am passionate about life and everything that life has to offer in general. In particular where my passion reverbrates are Yoga, communication and travel...not exactly in the same order..., I like to meet interesting people and travelling helps me in doing so. As far working on communication skill is related being a part of Wipro toastmasters club, Blr and Smoothtalkers toastmasters club, SFO has moulded me lot.

Apart from this my other passions include reading, writing and learning occult things starting from tarot reading to astrology. To fund all my interests I work as a software professional.

I draw my strength and inspiration from connecting and synerigizing with people.

I like to live a life Kingsize, I mean Queensize :-)

I am at the GCF to pick up the nuances of building connections and improving my interpersonal skills.
